Shadstone Sourcing represents many manufacturers worldwide! Focusing on metal manufacturing, we do have many sources in textiles, electronics, and raw materials.

Manufacturing Fabrication Types

Castings are molten materials (i.e. metals or plastics) are poured into a mold, solidified within that mold, and then ejected or broken away from the mold. Casting is most often used for making complex shapes that would be otherwise difficult or uneconomical to make by other methods. Die Casting Research & History

Stamping is a metalworking process by which sheet metal strips are punched using a press tool which is loaded on a machine press or stamping press to form the sheet into a desired shape. We accept even the most difficult stamping challenges and strive to provide our customers with efficient solutions - more stamping information

Forging is a method of shaping metal by using localized compressive forces. Cold forging is done at room temperature or near room temperature while hot forging is done at a high temperature; which makes metal easier to shape and less likely to fracture. Warm forging is done at intermediate temperature between cold and hot forging temperatures. Forged parts can range in weight from less than a kilogram to 170 metric tons and usually require further processing to become a finished part.
